More performers for the 2016 BET Awards have been announced!
Usher, Bryson Tiller, and Future have been added to the show's lineup, with previously announced performers Alicia Keys and Maxwell!
In addition, Sheila E., Janelle Monae, The Roots, and D'Angelo hit the stage for a special tribute to the late, great Prince!
Presenters that have been announced include DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Tinashe, Fantasia, Regina Hall, BET’s Music Moguls stars (Damon Dash, Birdman, Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dogg,) Aja Naomi King, Nate Parker, Terrence J, Morris Chestnut, J.B. Smoove, Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, and the casts of BET’s F in Fabulous (Kamie Crawford, Eny Oh, Stephon Mendoza and Savannah Lynx) and BET's New Edition biopic (Bryshere Y. Gray, Elijah Kelley, Luke James, Algee Smith, Keith Powers and Woody McClain).
Personally, I'm still holding out hope for a performance from Beyoncé! She's on a break now from her Formation World Tour before heading out to Europe on June 28, so it's possible! Maybe. Wishful thinking.
Black-ish costars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross will host for the second year in a row, and I'm excited to see what they bring to the table!
The 2016 BET Awards will air live Sunday, June 26 at 8 p.m. ET. Will you be watching?
