Brittany Shawnté is a passionate entertainment blogger, making her way in the entertainment industry! Representing Prince George's County, Maryland, she holds a bachelor's degree in Communication (specializing in Journalism) from Loyola University Maryland, which she received in May 2012.
With writing, music and celebrities as her biggest passions, Brittany started The Spotlight in June 2009. The blog allowed her to gain writing, networking, and interviewing experience, creating her own opportunity when she couldn't find one in the entertainment industry. Spotlight has now branched into something bigger than she could have dreamed!
