Lady Gaga Signs On for 'A Star is Born' Remake, Announces New Single

Lady Gaga has several projects on the way, and we're definitely excited for them! 

It's been announced that not only has the singer signed on for the A Star is Born remake, but she also has some new music coming!!!

Gaga will play the lead in the A Star Is Born remake, which will be directed by Bradley Cooper. This remake has been a long time coming with first Beyoncé as the lead, and Clint Eastwood as director. Bey eventually dropped out to scheduling issues, and Clint left as well after years of trying to make it. He turned the reins over to Bradley to direct, which will be the actor's directing debut! 

Bradley will also have a role in the movie, AND will produce the film through his 22 Green production company, along with Jon Peters, Billy Gerber, and Basil Iwanyk. Filming will get started in early 2017!

In addition to this great news for Gaga, she will also be dropping a new single next month! The singer's website is ablaze with the announcement of the single called, "Perfect Illusion." No word on any snippets or anything being leaked, but can't wait to hear what she's been working on!
