Beyoncé has officially announced that she will no longer be starring in the
Clint Eastwood's remake of the classic film,
A Star Is Born. The film follows the love story of a talented young woman who falls for a falling star. There have already been three other versions of the movie, including the 1937 original film with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, a 1954 version with Judy Garland and James Mason and a 1976 remake with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
Bey released a statement explaining that she dropped out of the project due to her busy schedule. "I was looking forward to the production of 'A Star Is Born' and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," she told
E! News. "For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."
