Amy Poehler received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday Dec. 3!
According to PEOPLE, the actress attended the ceremony with her children, Archie, 7, and Abel, 5, as well as her parents, William and Eileen Poehler. Amy's Parks and Recreation costar, Rashida Jones, shared a few words about what she admires most about Amy. "Congratulations, my dear friend," Rashida said. "You have the unique combination of boundless talent and unwavering integrity." Producer Michael Shur and Amy's former SNL co-star, Maya Rudolph were also in attendance.
This star was very well deserved. Amy has been in the industry for almost 20 years, and shows no signs of stopping. In this year alone, she hosted the Golden Globes for the third time with Tina Fey, completed the final season of Parks and Recreation, starred in Pixar's Inside Out, and has her new comedy, Sisters, with Tina coming out on Dec. 18!
Congrats Amy on your star!
