After three years of dating, singer Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth are engaged to be married! Their reps confirmed the news to PEOPLE."I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Miley said.
Liam and Miley met when they co-starred as love interests in The Last Song back in 2009 and were dating ever since. Liam proposed on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane!
Wow! I think they're a very cute couple, and I hope that their marriage holds up! I want them to have a nice little engagement though. They're both pretty young, and are busy with their own ventures. Right now, Miley is working on a new album, and Liam is filming a few movies before he stars filming the second Hunger Games movie. Think they should just take it slow and make sure marriage is right for them right now. Congrats to them though!
