Meek Mill Denies Engagement to Nicki Minaj

Meek Mill is finally speaking out on the reports of a possible engagement between him and rap star girlfriend Nicki Minaj!

In an interview with Fader (conducted back in April), Meek said that he isn't engaged to Nicki just yet. "It's definitely real," he said. "But it ain't really time to get married yet. We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."

Back in April, Nicki posted a shot of a heart-diamond ring on her ring finger on Instagram, which lead everyone to believe that maybe she and Meek were engaged. This is the first time either of them are speaking out about it.

Did anyone really think that they were engaged, though? I mean, maybe it's just me, but I saw it as a cute little present if anything. I didn't believe that Meek would give her a heart-shaped engagement ring for real. Whether or not they will actually walk down the aisle is still to be determined, but that's their business. I wish them well in their relationship.

REPORT: American Idol Tried to Replace Mariah Carey with Jennifer Lopez

The Hollywood Reporter has come out to say that Jennifer Lopez may be coming back to American Idol—to replace Mariah Carey! Their sources say that Idol producers, along with Fox executives, began negotiations with J. Lo, who was a fan-favorite judge during seasons 10 and 11, to rejoin the show. However, when Mariah got wind of it, she threatened to sue! THR also went on to report that producers want to bring Jennifer back for the season finale next month regardless, and that no judge’s job on the panel (not even Randy’s) is safe!

Chris Brown and Rihanna Allegedly Make Out In A NYC Club

Chris Brown and Rihanna apparently were spotted making out at NYC's Griffin nightclub Monday night!

The exes were "hugging and kissing," an eyewitness at the club said to Celebuzz. THEN, Chris was photographed leaving the same hotel where Rihanna was staying on Tuesday night! Coincidence? HA!

At the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards a few weeks back, Chris congratulated Rihanna on her Video of the Year win with a kiss on the lips. That, of course, did not go over well with Chris' girl Karrueche Tran! According to a source, she "totally pissed off. She felt the kiss was a public slap in the face." In fact, on that same day, Karrueche tweeted, "There's a difference between a man and a boy." She then added, "I prefer men." This just all adds to the rumors we've been hearing basically all year of Chris and Rihanna hooking up.

I've always felt that Chris has been using Karrueche to try to get over Rihanna, but to no avail. I say that he and Rihanna should just be together already, and stop playing with Karrueche's emotions. Rihanna still loves him, and Chris is clearly not over her, so just be together!!!

Recap on Yesterday's Events!!!

Thought I would just do a recap on some of yesterday's news. A LOT WAS GOING ON YESTERDAY! Too much in fact.

Soooo....East Coast, how about that earthquake yesterday?! People are still talking about it, telling their stories. Where they were, what they thought it was, and everything. I was at the movies after a failed trip to the doctor's, and all of a sudden the theater started shaking!!! Looked around after it stopped, and everybody had that "WTF was that?!" look! Then the second shake hit, and everybody took to running (Note that it was a lot of us black folks, and we tend to run first, ask questions later. Hope that didn't offend, but I've found it to be true haha). Absolutely insane...glad there were no major injuries or fatalities. I do know some buildings were condemned around the DMV region though, and extensive damage to the National Cathedral (pictured left) in D.C. at the top. I know it's a regular day in the neighborhood to you all on the West Coast, but on the East, that ain't us! ESPECIALLY IN D.C., MARYLAND, AND VIRGINIA! We're not prepared for any type of extreme weather! (See Snowmageddon). Anywho, hope everyone is well.
