Yet she still has feelings and they can't stay away from each other. "I know that you're bad for me, but when we get together, it's all good, good, good," she croons. Who hasn't been through that?! Definitely relatable.

New music for y'all this morning...the debut album, Maj, from R&B singer/songwriter BrownBoi Maj!

Released via Team Jon Doe/Capital Visuals, the album is a mix of 90s pop/R&B with today's "new wave" sound. The album is said to give listeners "honest and pure music" that they'll be able to automatically relate to. BrownBoi Maj is "speaking for the broke boys…those who might be socially awkward. The ones who feel like they can’t get THAT girl," per press release.

The 11-track album includes BrownBoi’s latest singles, "Lo$er" feat. the artist's fellow Team Jon Doe recording artist, JusXJustice and "$he" along with other hit tracks, "Broke Boi," “Drip” feat. E-Batt & Davinci and “Drop” feat. Cruise & Loh.

The track also features cellist/vocalist Ayanna Wittter-Johnson, whose smooth cello adds a special effect to the ballad. "Ayanna and I collaborated on every part of the creation of this song, from writing to recording, so it only made sense that the video was an extension of this partnership, whilst debunking the stereotype of competition between women," Bianca said. "We believe there is a place for us all in this business so we actively make room for one another." That's very refreshing to hear!

"Because of Love" is the second single from Bianca's debut album, No Fear Here, which was just released yesterday! The song itself is so soothing as the ladies sing together, expressing words of affection to the ones that they love.

UK wordsmith Joshua Luke Smith has dropped a great, new track called "Heart of Man," as inspiration for the new year!

The track, featuring Joshua's powerful spoken word, calls for us to reflect on 2016 (the good and the bad), and travel through 2017 with a renewed spirit. "My hope is this song helps to slow us down, to help us step into this year fully here, present and hearts full and ready to love," Joshua said of the song.

The EP, which includes track may b, goes through the ups and downs of a relationship, with Khari truly in love with a special woman and wanting their relationship to stand the test of time. Not only is the project really relatable, but Khari's smooth vocals are soothing to listen to. This is definitely a great project to check out, especially for all of the R&B lovers like me out there!

Pop singer/songwriter Taylor Noelle recently released her debut EP, Out of My System, for listeners, and it's definitely one you should have in your music library!

With production from Andrew Conner, the four-track EP officially dropped on November 25th. The soulful and honest project, available now on iTunes, expresses Taylor's own life experiences — good and bad. "The EP's title reflects how it even came about. I had all these songs that meant a whole lot to me that I just needed to get 'out of my system' and into the world," the singer revealed. "My vision is that there are people out there who can hear these songs about my pain and my joy and connect them to their own lives. I use songwriting to process my feelings, and I hope that my songs can help other people to do the same."

Excited to bring some new music from soul/reggae artist Ayotemi — a track entitled, "Ya Vibe," feat. Keith Jone$!

According to a press release, the track "reflects on self-love and warns about the tendency to look to others for inner balance and peace." The mellow track is real cool to listen to, but also inspiration to know and love yourself, and, because of that self-love, have a certain set of standards that you live by.  At least that's what I immediately took from it. It's definitely an important track, especially for the ladies out there.

The music speaks on relationships and other topics but also empowerment, (like on track "Killer Queen),  something that EMM says her brand is all about, especially as a female producer. "Being a female producer is a big part of my brand because its an area where a lot of women are still pushing for a breakthrough," the artist admitted.

No matter what she tries, it's just not clicking with this person. "It speaks about that moment you realize you can’t make anyone love you or reciprocate affection," she said of the track. The track is also the debut single from Mariam's debut EP, Heart To Heart, which will be released this Friday!

The soulful track, which is on the singer's upcoming EP set for release on November 11, features Lynette somberly singing about "The way you always running, was I ever a contender? Was I ever something more than what you said?" She could've very easily moved on to the next, but she stayed loyal to this person, though it seems like it's all for naught. It's definitely an honest song that a good number of us, including myself, can connect to.  Check out the track below!

NEW MUSIC: "NFF!"-Xav A. feat. Awesum Crawford

Singer Xav A is back with a funky new song "NFF!" featuring Awesum Crawford! 

Released September 23, the upbeat song actually expressed a lot of bad feelings that Xav had going on in his head at the time he wrote it. "The song came to me when I realized that I was playing a loop of negativity in my head--stuff that was belittling my talent. I put the pieces together and remembered where I first heard those things and I was just so shocked about how long I had been holding onto that mental baggage! It was almost like 5 or 6 years," the artist admitted. "So in the song I am comparing the negativity in my head to fungus on your toes because they both stink and they're both something that you physically can't walk away from."

"NFF!" is the first single on Xav's upcoming album, a project that he calls his "most cohesive work" yet!  "It really utilizes the throwback 90's R&B sound to the fullest, and the songs tell a story together so that's marvelous," the singer said. "I also have some of my favorite collaborations ever on the upcoming project! Awesum Crawford elevated my song to a whole new level and I'm just thankful to have friends like her and the other great artists that I can't wait to reveal!"

It's a really smooth and chill song, but still passionate as well.

NEW MUSIC: "may b"-R&B Singer Khari King

Got some new music for you all from R&B singer Khari King called "may b!" 

Khari did everything on the song himself from the lyrics to production and even mixing and mastering, showing that he is a jack of all trades when it comes to creating music. The R&B ballad is definitely a relatable track "I just wanted to make a track that really highlighted how good intentions can lead to unfavorable outcomes in a relationship sometimes, but, despite those outcomes, there's always a chance to salvage something from a relationship," Khari said of the track.

The single is the precursor to Khari's upcoming EP which will be released in October! "It's going to be a four track project with production from myself and other really good friends of mine," the singer revealed. "I love to collaborate with other artists, especially ones close to me from Atlanta who understand the vibe and artistry I want to portray."

MUSIC VIDEO: "Be Free"-Jaymal Green feat. Rizzy

Singer and activist Jaymal Green has released the official music video for his powerful track, "Be Free," featuring Rizzy! 

On the song, Jaymal uses his gift of music to further expand his activism. Set in Chicago, the video features both Jaymal and Rizzy speaking on the multitude of issues affecting their city that are swept under the rug. "One of the main points is the blind eye that city officials have when it comes to young children of color dying in the city due to gun violence," according to an email from Jaymal's label, Major Green Music.

Both Jaymal and Rizzy are actually facing charges for their activism after police falsely accused them of assault. However, they both continue to fight on and speak out against the injustices facing Chicago!
