Tyra Banks Announced as the Next Host of 'America's Got Talent'

Looks like Tyra Banks has a new hosting gig! 

Just weeks after Nick Cannon announced he was leaving his job hosting NBC's America’s Got Talent, it's been revealed that Tyra is taking over!



Of course, Tyra has plenty of hosting experience herself. She created and hosted America's Next Top Model, as well as her own talk show formerly. So it will definitely will be a great fit for her! Tyra happily made the announcement on Twitter:

Judge Howie Mandel confirmed the news with his own tweet:

Rumors for the past few weeks had Marlon Wayans, former Disney actor Brandon Mychal Smith and comedian Tone Bell as potential hosts. I think it's really cool though to have a black woman as host for the show! Wishing Tyra best wishes in her new role!
