On yesterday, the news was received by Usmagazine.com that Molly Ringwald, known for her roles in 80s films Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club and also her current role in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, on Friday. Molly and her husband, Panio Gianopoulos named the newborns Roman Stylianos and Adele Georgiana, ABC Family confirms. The couple also has a five-year-old daughter, Matilda Erini.
The actress' ABC family series is still in production on its second season, and although her role was reduced to accommodate her maternity leave, Ringwald -- who's real-life pregnancy was written into the show -- reportedly shot several scenes ahead of time. As a big fan on Secret Life, I can't wait to see what happens with the pregnancy! Congratulations Molly and Panio!
