The Associated Press in California reported early this morning that MC Hammer's cousin Marvin Grant (pictured left with Hammer) has been arrested for allegedly raping a 40-year-old woman that he met on Twitter in Northern California. Known on Hammer's reality TV show on A&E as Marv, he was arrested Thursday.
Livermore Police Lt. Matt Sarsfield says the two developed a romantic relationship over e-mails and phone calls. The woman had arranged to meet him at a Livermore hotel Wednesday night. Police say Marv attacked the woman after she declined his advances.
Wow...not quite sure if this is true or not. I mean, there are definitely lustful men out there that will do whatever they have to do to get theirs. But then there are thirsty women out there that will say and do anything if they think they can get something out of it, like money or their little 5 minutes of fame. I'm not downplaying the situation, because it is a serious one. However, before we spit out allegations, let's just remember that there could be lies being spouted. Just saying. If it is true, then I hope that Marv is punished for his actions and learns something from it to make himself better and that the victim will be okay mentally and emotionally.
