Well it's official. The fighting between former wrestling star Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda is done! The two have reached a settlement in their divorce.
At a hearing this morning in Clearwater, Fla., Hulk and Linda announced that they've agreed to the terms of the split. "We've reached a marital settlement agreement," Ray Rafool, Linda's attorney, told the judge.
In a statement to Usmagazine.com, Hulk's rep says, "Hulk is looking forward to moving on with his life and is very hopeful that he and Linda can maintain a friendship and work together as parents to their two children."
Before everything began, Hulk, whose real name is Terry Bollea, and Linda were seen smiling, according to a local ABC affiliate. At one point, she even kissed his cheek.
"The war is over," Linda said after the hearing.
Hulk agreed: "When you're married to someone for 23 years ... you hope for the best .... We just got torn apart."
Linda officially filed for divorce in November 2007 after 23 years of marriage. She and Hulk have two children, Brooke and Nick.
I'm just glad to see them moving on from this and seeing that it's not just about them. Sure they may have had their problems, but the fact remains is that they have two kids together. They're all still a family, no matter what problems they're going through themselves. (HINT HINT TO THE COUPLES GOING THROUGH DIVORCES RIGHT NOW *cough cough*). It's beautiful to see. Hulk and Linda are going to try to maintain a friendship, and after 23 years of marriage, they should.
