RECAP: "The Mile High Club" -The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions E6

MTV

This latest episode of The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions was definitely a great one to watch!

Picking up from last week, a lot of romance going on, or at least being attempted! Most of the house, at this point, is drinking and having a good time. Nicole continues to try to flirt heavy with Cara Maria. Zach and Jenna have some awkward conversation, and it's clear that there is a spark between them still. Zach admits in a confessional that he ruined what was probably the best thing he's ever had, but will Jenna forgive him? Cory still tries to give Kailah the cold shoulder and wants to be left alone. Instead of giving in though, she still goes after him, and they have sex and reconnect.

Meanwhile, Nelson tries to get with Sylvia after he was just head over heels about Latoya some weeks before. When Sylvia rejects him, Nelson goes Incredible Hulk and starts lashing out, flipping over furniture and all! Why? Because everybody is drunk and needs to go to bed. I say this every season. Nobody wants to be with a crazy person who goes off like that when he gets drunk, Nelson! Both Tony and Camila see this, and realize that's exactly how they were on Rivals III before they got kicked off because of their tempers. They talk things through, and patch things up. It's good to see them both in much better places than before!

RECAP: "Underdog Eat Underdog World"-The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions, E5

MTV

Welp, the Champs have officially invaded the game on The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions!

Picking up from last week, TJ brings out the Champs, and reveals that the game is changing. It's going to be broken down into teams— the Champs versus everybody else (aka the Underdogs) from here on out! For each challenge you win as a team, you bank $10K  in your team bank account. Each day will either be a champion elimination day or underdog elimination day, and, in the elimination, you'll be battling members of your own team.

So, for the first challenge between the Champs and the Underdogs, TJ reveals they'll be playing Knockout. It'll be broken into guys and girls heats, with six Underdogs against four Champs. TJ will launch a ball out of a catapult, and everybody has to scrap to get the ball into their goal. The first team to score three times wins the heat. The first team to win two heats total wins the whole thing. And TJ adds another twist: the first underdog during both the girls' and guys' heats to score a point will choose a member of the opposite sex to go into elimination, since it's an underdog elimination day!

RECAP: "Four Tickets to Paradise"-The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions, E4

MTV

Last night's episode of The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions was a game changer on a few fronts!

Picking up from last week, we find that there's only four tickets left to make it to the Oasis. Latoya, Sylvia, Amanda, Nelson, Shane, and Anthony are all without a spot, and will still have to fight for one this week...either in the challenge or at elimination. But, until then, everyone is still struggling at the Shelter. Of course, no Challenge would be complete without hookups though. Kailah and Cory get cozy and end up making out. They both just like to have fun, and Cory is a major player, so I don't see it being anything real. Later, another potential couple emerges in Nelson and Latoya, as they bond and talk about the game. Later, they make out on their cots, and, since the Shelter is so open, EVERYONE can see them. The two get a standing ovation from the house before taking their romp to the beach!

RECAP: "Helter Shelter"-The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions, E3

MTV

After this week,
The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions is about to get a lot more interesting!

Picking up from last week, at the Shelter, the house gets a clue in a bucket: "Tomorrow's the only time in this game that you'll want to be a floater." Definitely meaning something with water! Surprise little twist, though: those have earned their way into the Oasis, though, get to kick back and watch! Looks like they get a break from competing since they've already won a spot in the real house!

RECAP: The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions Season Premiere

MTV

Man, I missed The Challenge! The latest installation of the hit show is back on MTV, and I'm recapping every step of the way!

This season is The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions...only the people in the house right now don't know that yet. In Krabi, Thailand, we see 18 underdogs — some who have competed before and some who haven't. There's a lot of new faces from these seasons of Real World and/or Are You The One (which I don't watch anymore so I wouldn't know who's who and where they're from) and some old. However, the common factor among them all is that none of them have actually won a challenge.

RECAP: "Split Decision"-The Challenge: Rivals 3 Finale

The finale of The Challenge: Rivals 3 aired last night, and I'm still reeling from the ending! Picking up from last week, the rivals move on to finish the rest of the Final. They have to now race all the way down the road to their next checkpoint! Vince and Jenna take the lead with the run, but this next checkpoint is actually over a cliff! The teams have to rappel down 250 feet to make to Wine and Mine. It's a simple memory game for each team member to flip over pieces and find the matches like we did when we were kids. It's crazy though, because these are all still individual events, so everyone is working separately first, and then going back to help their partner. With Bananas finishing first for this game, Sarah brings up splitting the money if they win. Bananas swears that they're a team and that they don't need to be worried about that right now! Mmhmm.

RECAP: "Grapes. Wrath."-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 13

The final three teams were determined in the most recent episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3! Picking up from episode 12, Cheyenne is struggling with Vince's bullying, and on the verge of a breakdown, saying she wants to go home! She literally is talking to production, and asks them to let her call her mother. Cheyenne's mom tells her to get herself together and not let anyone get to her like that! That's right! I understand you have had issues with bullying, and I'm not downplaying that at all, but GIRL you are in the running to possibly win big money! While Cheyenne is on the phone, Devin calls Vince out for being an idiot. He even calls Jenna and Sarah dumb sheep who follow behind Vince and Bananas all the time. Security has to step in with Devin, when things almost get physical between him and Vince. Ultimately, though, Cheyenne decides to stay.

RECAP: "Raging Bullies"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 12

The Challenge: Rivals 3 is winding down, and, on this past episode, we saw one last team get sent packing before everyone else heads to Argentina! Picking up from last week, Jenna apparently has been having issues communicating with her boyfriend and Challenge vet Zach while she's been at the house. He either hasn't been picking up his phone or has just been really cold towards her. He even called her another girl's name (seemingly as a joke, but who really knows). It's very awkward even listening to them on the phone, She cries and vents to Sarah, feeling like she shouldn't have even came to Mexico to compete. Seeing as though Zach has been through these challenges himself, he ought to understand what it's like and be a little more sympathetic and caring.

Meanwhile, Devin decides he wants to pull a Jordan and pull out all of the skulls until he pulls a black one, just so he can compete and prove himself. With he and Cheyenne somehow skating by all of these eliminations, they really haven't proven themselves. However, it's the DUMBEST move to do right now towards the end of the game! Surprisingly, Cheyenne, who's normally the voice of reason with this dude, goes along with it!

RECAP: "Rivals: Civil War"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 11

TWO teams went home on this episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3!

Picking up from last week's drama, we see Devin and Cheyenne, as well as Cory and Ashley standing in The Jungle, pulling skulls to see who will face off against Nate and Christina! It comes down to Cory, who pulls a black skull, forcing him and Ashley to fight to stay in the house, while Devin and Cheyenne get to stay. The game of the night is "Spun Out." There are two turnstiles with a spool of rope. For the first heat, the girls will be on a platform holding on to a bar while suspended up in the air, while the guys push the spool to make the rope (or "lifeline") tighter and harder for the girls to hold on to. The goal is to hold on to the lifeline longer than the opponent. The one who holds out the longest will win a point. Then everyone will switch, with the girls taking a turn at the turnstile and the boys having to hold on to the bar. The team that gets two points first will win.

RECAP: "Digging Your Own Grave"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 10

As The Challenge: Rivals 3 winds down, the drama picks up!

Picking up from last week, per usual, the house goes out to party. With the drinks pouring, people always want to vent their feelings at the club! Christina admits to Nate that she's nervous and drained with being in the house. Nate tries to boost her mood, but knows Christina needs to toughen up in order to make it further in the game. Meanwhile, Nany talks to Cory about the alliance between their teams, trusting that he has her and Wes' backs. However, Nicole thinks that Cory is making deals on the side and doesn't trust him. With good reason. Cory is also in cahoots with Bananas and Vince, and tries to downplay it. He thinks that he has two different deals in case something falls through, though really Bananas and Vince are secretly playing him!

RECAP: "Let Sleeping Dogs Wake"-The Challenge Rivals 3, Episode 9

We're getting towards the end of The Challenge: Rivals 3, and the teams are going in hard core! Picking up from last week, we see part two of last week's challenge. The teams are tired and cranky, and now have to answer all these questions about what all happened in "Up All Night." There's a series of eight events that have to be put in order, and then there are a series of eight questions that have to be answered about each event. Again, the winning team will get $1000 each and a day trip to Huatulco, in addition to being safe from elimination and sending two teams in to possibly face The Jungle!

RECAP: "Stand By Me"-'The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 8

This episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3 literally had way too much going on! Picking up from last week, the house goes out for another night in Mexico! Tony stays getting drunk, and, as we've seen multiple times, he is an ANGRY drunk. At the club, he vents to Devin, telling Devin that he hates her which is hard for Devin to swallow, since he's interested in Camila. Once they get back to the house, Camila bumps into a drunk Vince, falls and gets scraped up. Camila, of course, goes off on him and Bananas for laughing. Later, the cousins even reenact the scene, and Camila goes off again, calling them bullies and then calling out a sleeping Tony out for "idolizing" them!

The cousins end up waking Tony up, telling him to get Camila in check. Of course, Tony already has this harbored resentment towards her, so it ends up being a huge argument between the two of them. Clearly, Bananas and Vince wanted them to fight for some entertainment. Tony gets really up in her face, and even backs her into a corner. It almost comes off as he's about to lay hands on her, and two of the other guys eventually drag him away, while the girls pull Camila away and try to calm her down. Devin eventually talks to Tony and calms him down, but tells Tony that it was not okay that he backed her into a corner like that. It's absolutely crazy. What's crazier though is that all this happens in Tony and Camila's off time, and they go to challenges and put in work!

RECAP: "Camilanator: Salvation"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 7

Devastating news rocked one cast member on this episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3!  Picking up from last week, the house parties, but Tony is upset about his current partnership with Camila. He asks her to be more encouraging and what not, though Camila isn't really wired that way. Meanwhile, Cheyenne is frustrated in dealing with Devin, who brings a lot of unnecessary attention to himself. She correctly states that, as rookies, they just need to lay low to try to fly under the radar, but he doesn't. In fact, when Cheyenne and Cory have a little alone time at the club, Devin comes over completely plastered, talking about how he'll vote everyone in when he gets the chance and blah blah blah! All he's doing is pissing everyone off. Jamie gets annoyed especially after Devin yells at KellyAnne, and it's almost a brawl between the two of them!

RECAP: "The Naked Truth"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 6

Another rousing episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3! Picking up from last week, there are quite a few potential romances happening. Cheyenne and Cory continue their flirting, Tony has eyes for Ashley, and Devin is hoping to hook up with Camila. Back at the house, Camila and Devin start making out, and, assumably, have sex. Ashley sleeps with Tony as well. They CLAIM nothing happened, but the video definitely shows something different! It's crazy though because Ashley has hooked up with Jamie, and I personally thought that maybe just maybe she could have something nice with him. Jamie finds out later, of course, and wants Ashley to just leave him alone from here on out.

RECAP: "Where the Ratchet Things Are"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 5

Picking up from last week on "Out on a Limb," Camila falls HARD and begs for help. She just had the wind knocked out her, but turns out she's okay. Some of the other teams did well, but a lot of the other teams just couldn't sick their landing past the first or second platform. The team that went the furthest the fastest was Cory and Ashley, who win for the day! Dario and Nicole, Jessica and Johnny, and KellyAnne and Jamie end up being the three bottom teams. T.J. announces that the team that did the worst was Jessica and Johnny, so they'll be heading in The Jungle...yet again. Cory and Ashley will then pick two other teams to face off against them.

RECAP: "I'm Going Home"-The Challenge: Rivals 3 Episode 4

Last night's episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3  had way too much going on! Picking up from last week, Simone reveals is in serious pain literally from her raw butthole from grinding on that bar of soap at the last challenge! She decides to go to the doctor, and Thomas encourages her, though he knows her butt better not be the reason he goes home! Meanwhile, Wes talks to Nicole about Nate, who she's a little smitten with. Wes decides to get involved, telling Nate to go ask Nicole out. Nate talks to her and they decide to have a little date! So high school, but still kind of cute. Later, Simone comes home and her butthole is fine. She has a bunch of medications to take but she'll be all right, so she and Thomas get to stay. Can you imagine if you went home over your butt?! Embarrassing.

RECAP: "The Replacements"-The Challenge: Rivals 3, Episode 3

A few more twists and turns on last night's episode of The Challenge: Rivals 3! Picking up from last week, the house goes out to party. Ashley, who is a drunk mess, admits to other cast members that she is feeling left out in the house, and is in her feelings. A little later, she thinks that she saw Jamie made out with Nicole, which pisses her off and she runs to the bathroom to cry. She vents to Camila and even her partner Cory goes in there to comfort her. At that point, Nicole walks in just to use the bathroom, with no idea what's going on. Both Jamie and Nicole deny kissing each other, and it's clear that Ashley is just being paranoid. I don't see her making it that far mentally in this game.

RECAP: "The Curse of the Black Skull"- The Challenge: Rivals III Episode 2

The Challenge: Rivals III is starting off strong, and last night, sadly, two teams went home! Picking up from last week, Vince is on his high horse from winning the first challenge with Jenna. Now they have to pick someone to face Johnny and Jessica in the elimination. Meanwhile, Leroy asks to see the doctor because his back pain is so bad, and he ends up having to go to the hospital. Averey is really worried about him, but Leroy believes he will be fine.

RECAP: "Mexican Standoff"- 'The Challenge: Rivals III' Season Premiere

It’s time for another season of MTV’s The Challenge, and I’m too excited! This season, which takes place in Huatulco, Mexico is teaming up new rivals, which means a lot of fights and drama, in addition to these teams trying to work together to win these challenges and make it to the end!

At the beginning of the 90 minute premiere, the cast files into their house, amazed by the great place MTV decked out for them. I realized though that there are way too many people from Are You The One on here this season! This show began for Real World and Road Rules cast members, so I personally would rather see it stick to that, but that’s just me. I guess with a lot of the veteran cast members getting older, on top of getting married and having babies, MTV had to bring on new people. They probably want more drama too.

RECAP: "Family Matters"-The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines Season Finale

Winners were crowned last night on the finale of The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines! Picking up from last week, the teams prep for the second part of the Final! In stage two, Job Detail, TJ tells them that they have an important job for them all, which requires a specific dress code!  The teams have to dress up in suits, and have to carry very important briefcases. TJ informs them that they have to take the train to their next location, but first, they have to eat a traditional German meal, with blood soup, bratwurst, blood tongue, etc! For every plate that goes unfinished by each team member, a five-minute penalty will be added to their time at the very end.
