In honor of his birthday on January 7, artist L-Dro dropped a new track "The Glory!"

Produced by The Olympicks, the rapper recounts the harsh reality of growing up in our hometown of Akron, OH and making it to the top of the rap game.

The next artist we're spotlighting hails from my hometown of Akron, Oh! Hip hop artist L-Dro was inspired by and grew up listening to artists such as Pac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, Jadakiss and AZ. These artists, who, in his opinion, were out when rap music was at its most competitive and authentic, influenced him to try out the music he most identified with growing up.

My hometown of Akron, OH has another star by the name is L-Dro! After dropping Dr OHIO with Don Cannon last year, he continues the grind by grabbing Jadakiss  and Beanie Sigel on a new track called “The Life We Live.” Cop his new DJ Drama hosted mixtape "In Us We Trust" and look out for his new EP "Higher Learning" coming soon!
